I\u2019m Iva (eve-ah)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m an RPN, Psychotherapist with eight years of experience in the nursing field. Over the years, I\u2019ve come to recognize that healing is a deeply personal and holistic process. It comes from finding balance – mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. If one of these areas is off balance, it can spill over into every other aspect of our wellbeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My background includes a diploma in Addictions and Mental Health and training in the Foundations of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I\u2019m also a Reiki Master Practitioner, which allows me to integrate gentle energy-based approaches into my work when it feels aligned with a client\u2019s needs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My background in nursing puts me in a unique position in that I’m able to conduct assessments such as blood pressure monitoring, medication reviews, and comprehensive health histories. This information can help us get a better sense of how your emotional and mental health have been interplaying with your physical health. I’m able to relay this information to your primary care provider, with your consent, in order to streamline your care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My practice is trauma-informed and polyvagal-informed, emphasizing safety, compassion, and connection as the foundation for growth. Having my own lived experience with trauma, I understand how powerful it can be to have a space where you feel truly heard, seen and supported. I aim to create a soft landing pad where you truly feel safe to unpack what you’ve been carrying all this time. You can put it down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe healing starts from the inside out. Therapy is not just about managing symptoms, but about reconnecting with your inner wisdom. You have everything you need within you. I’m just here to help you remember the beautiful light that’s already yours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
